Islamic Wills
for you and your loved ones
We aim to make sure that every Muslim has a valid Will.
It is highly recommended that every Muslim living in the UK has a Will written that is compliant with the Islamic Law and satisfies the requirements of the UK Will laws to ensure that it is valid.
It is a common misconception, that a Will has to be written by a solicitor, however, this is not the case in England and Wales, where competent professionals specialising in Wills are permitted by law to arrange this on your behalf.
Validity of the Will is essential so that probate may be applied for, and the estate of the deceased may be disposed of according to their written wishes in compliance with the requirements detailed in the Holy Quran and the Prophetic traditions. If death occurs, without a Will that is valid in England and Wales, then it is likely that your family will not be able to gain control of your assets, leaving the authorities with the power to dispose of the assets according to the Wills regulations of England and Wales.
Since the UK Wills regulations differ with the Shariah, this may result in your legal heirs, as defined in the Holy Quran, being deprived of their rightful entitlement, as outlined in the Shariah.
